A Bittersweet Goodbye for Belle
Recently I had the honor of photographing a deeply emotional goodbye session for Belle and her two favorite humans, Rachael and Nick. Belle was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge and they wanted to capture some final moments with her, just the three of them, together.
We created a few timeless black background portraits of Belle, where her gentle soul really shone through. Then we spent time capturing her with Rachael and Nick, surrounded by love, gratitude and quiet heartbreak. It was clear in every look and touch just how much Belle was cherished.
This session was so bittersweet—full of love and the kind of connection that stays with you long after the camera is put away. Saying goodbye is never easy, but I’m incredibly grateful I could give Rachael and Nick something to hold onto as they carry Belle’s memory forward.
