Haley started Tilly when she was just two years old. She quickly became her heart horse. But life unfolded in unexpected ways, and Haley had to make the heart-wrenching decision to sell her.
A few months ago, Haley received a phone call from Tilly’s new owners: Would she want to buy Tilly back?
She didn’t have to think twice and just like that, they were reunited.
The bond these two share is truly something special. So much love. So much trust. It’s incredibly beautiful to witness. I feel so honored to have documented their story, both in photographs and film.
Also, side note, Haley is an incredible donkey trainer. If you're ever looking for a donkey, look no further than her crew!
