I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Jacque several times now, both at TIP challenges where she competed and during portrait sessions with her BLM mustang mare, Phoebe. For this session, she also brought along one of her donkeys, Sterling. Jacque is a wonderful trainer and truly works wonders with donkeys, who aren’t always the easiest to manage!
Our session took place on a sunny day, but the cold wind was relentless, definitely a true January day in Arizona.
It was so much fun to see how much Phoebe has developed since the last time I photographed her, about a year and a half ago. She’s still on the small side, but her personality is mighty, and it absolutely shone through during our session. She has so much spunk!
