Shelby and Michael are just the sweetest couple. I met Shelby last year at the Mustang Open and at a clinic Jeff Cook hosted. She runs Ranch 480 and is a Mustang trainer. I met up with them and two of their horses, Faith & Hank, by the Tortolita preserve in Tucson for a photoshoot of the 4 of them to use for their new website and materials for the Ranch.
The weather had been super unpredictable the entire day and Shelby and I had been texting all day to keep each other updated. When we started the shoot, it started to drizzle but then it dried up and the most dramatic skies appeared. With not a lot of cloudy days in Arizona, this was actually a real treat to work with as it gave such a different look to the images.
