When I received the inquiry from Sigrid about their wedding weekend on the gorgeous island of Texel in The Netherlands, I knew it would be a great one.
I met Sigrid a few years ago at another wedding I photographed for a wonderful couple whom she is close friends with. Referral weddings are my absolute favorite since I usually get to see former clients again which was the case this time as well!
Sigrid and I chatted on a video call and the decision was made: they wanted me to photograph their weekend. We stayed in touch through Whatsapp throughout the process and I was so excited to finally see them again two weeks ago!
Sigrid and Wouter Bas opted for a full weekend of fun on Texel, where Sigrid was raised. It's such a gorgeous island and a beautiful spot to get married. On day 1 they opted for a very intimate legal ceremony, followed by drinks with all their weekend guests.
