Photographing milestones in people's lives is something I will never ever take for granted. It sounds so cliche, doesn't it? But it is true. I've photographed Alyssa and Shawn for multiple years now and watching their family grow and getting to document it, is such an honor.
We did family photos last December where they proudly showed the ultrasound images of little Weston safely in the womb. We had scheduled their maternity session for June. But Weston had other plans and showed up WAY early. After weeks in the hospital, he was recently finally allowed to go home. On oxygen, which is a huge adjustment of course for the family but he's home.
They asked me to document this milestone moment for them and it was so wonderful to meet Weston and see how much little Colton already loves his baby brother.
