The TIP challenges for wild Mustangs and Burros are so incredibly close to my heart. I was thrilled to be the official photographer again for the May edition of this wonderful challenge in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Seeing what these youth and adult trainers accomplish with these wonderful animals in just 3 months blows me away every single time. I have so much respect for the trainers who get these horses and burros out of holding and train them to get them adopted out to new homes instead of being stuck in holding pens for the rest of their lives.
Day 1 consisted of Handling & Conditioning and a Trail obstacle course. Day 2 is always my favorite as that is the freestyles.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the 2 days. I can't wait for the next event in September!
