Arizona TIP challenge

Events & businesses

Mustang events make my heart so happy. I was thrilled when I was asked to be the official photographer for this year's Arizona TIP challenge at Horseshoe Park in Queen Creek.

Local TIP challenges are so much fun and I'm always in awe when I get to see how much the Mustang and Burro trainers have accomplished with their animals in just 100 days. From wild to mild.

Day 1 consisted of Handling & Conditioning and the Trail class for both youth and adult, Burros and Mustangs.

Day 2 consisted of the freestyles, my personal favorite.

This year's freestyles were phenomenal. Honestly. Such amazing work from all the trainers!

My personal favorite freestyle was from Adriane DeWolf with Truman. Truman was dressed up as Winnie the Pooh, carried a honey jar in his mouth and gave her a hug with his leg around Adriane. This horse was untouched just a 100 days before. I cried. What a beautiful, beautiful moment <3

Here are a few of my favorite images from this amazing event. I can't wait for the next one in May!
