Equine therapy, I’m such a huge believer in the power this has to offer. Basecamp for Veterans Inc. is a fantastic non profit organisation that hosts a beautiful program in Tucson, AZ at both White Stallion Ranchand Dream Horse AZ.
One of the things I love about this program, is that they involve the veteran’s families.
Horses are amazing therapists, Mustangs might be even more amazing. At Dream Horse AZ, the veterans get to work with the Mustangs while at the Ranch they get to enjoy bonding with a Ranch horse. From a horsemanship class to a grooming class to trail rides to riding lessons, to working with Jeff Cook & the Mustangs and equine therapist Tamara Clause, it’s all part of the program.

I was extremely honoured to be asked to photograph Class 2 this June. Witnessing the power of Mustang therapy through my lens is the most beautiful thing to experience.
