Hoofbeats with Hearts is such an amazing organization that does incredible work. For veterans, but also for kids. Kids with autism, foster kids, kids that just need a bit of help. They’ve been around for 20 years offering equine therapy and recently, they also added more farm animals to the mix.

Goats are used for the kids as they can be much less intimidating than a big horse. Goats are great therapists, you just need to sit with them and be. They know, they care. When Hoofbeats was asking for goats for their program, I knew we had to donate a few of our crew who I knew would absolutely THRIVE doing this kind of work with children. Rory, Finn and Timmy headed their way and it’s been such a huge hit that they wanted to expand their little herd a bit more. So Fiona and Cheyenne headed their way too last week.

The animals are super well taken care of and loved to no extent. I could tell that our crew absolutely loves it out there.

They needed some headshots of the animals to use for their social media, so I photographed all their therapy animals (including alpaca’s and camels) since I love working with organizations like this.

Thank you Hoofbeats with Heart for the great work you do and provide to the veterans and the community!
